Solar Pool Enclosures of NY Joins Forces with CoverSafe Inc.

Solar Pool Enclosures of NY has merged with CoverSafe, Inc, as of January 1, 2021. Solar Pools current field and office team have joined the CoverSafe team and will continue to serve the Long Island area out of the existing Holbrook, Long Island location.  Our combined business operations are moving forward using the ‘Solar Pool Enclosures, A CoverSafe Company’ brand.

Current Solar Pools customers and pool builders may continue to schedule service or appointments by using SPE’s direct phone number at (631) 471-5252, or by using this contact form. Additionally, online ordering and scheduling for annual automatic pool cover maintenance is now available. 

John Lochren of Solar Pool Enclosures will be involved as CoverSafe’s new Vice President of Sales and Customer Relations. Mr. Lochren has also brought current Solar Pools field technicians and office team with him to join the CoverSafe team. In addition to that, he brings 30+ years of experience in the pool industry, and is also a member of many industry councils including: Chairman of the PHTA Education Committee, LIPSA Director and Former Chairman of the NESPA Foundation. 

Adam Marble, majority owner of CoverSafe, and John Lochren share a similar philosophy for total customer satisfaction and the importance of happy team members. This merge is an exciting opportunity for us both to improve operations and response times in the Long Island area. We look forward to being able to improve the services offered to our customers and pool builders with the new merged operations.

About the Owners

Adam Marble – President and Majority Owner

Adam joined the automatic pool cover industry in the summer of 2001, at age 21. In 2003, he was asked to travel to Connecticut and develop the market for automatic pool covers in the New England area. The new area grew substantially, and in 2010, Adam took on the role of General Manager for all of CSEC. In 2011, Adam was promoted to President and served in that position until 2013 – when he reached an agreement with Marc Smith, former Owner of CSEC, to purchase the Northeastern region he had been developing for the past ten years. He named that business Coversafe, Inc. Since then, the business has grown to almost quadruple the original size, and has added new Service Center locations in New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.

Kevin Taylor – Vice President and Part Owner

Kevin Taylor has over 21 years of experience in the automatic pool cover industry. His work began in 1998 under the apprenticeship of Marc Smith. After 5 years of experience building an excellent reputation among local pool builders, he grew to become the field manager at Coverstar East Coast. In 2008, during the economic crisis, Kevin helped Coverstar East Coast expand their product offerings into winter safety covers. Kevin was named the new General Manager of CSEC in 2016. On June 1st, 2019, Coverstar East Coast was merged with Coversafe Inc, allowing Kevin Taylor to become part owner. Now on the CoverSafe team, Kevin continues to serve his customers as the Field Operations Leader of the Mid Atlantic region.

Before and After a CoverWash

Before and after a CoverWash! Check out these pictures of before and after a coverwash with UV treatment. Our crews are out working hard this season and the automatic pool covers are shining. We are making covers that are years old look like new again!  When you have your cover washed with a UV treatment application, your cover will look its best and it helps to ensure a longer life for your fabric.

A coverwash and UV protectant application is part of our seasonal maintenance plan –  the Extended Service Plan. In addition to the wash and UV treatment, the Extended Service Plan offers quick response time and free replacement and adjustments of moving parts. It also will extend your labor warranty through the year, which keeps you covered if anything should go wrong with your cover system during the year. Ready, Set, It’s almost April! Have you scheduled your seasonal automatic pool cover service yet? 

Our trucks are freshly cleaned and washed, decals have been added, and are ready to go for April! We’re anticipating our busiest automatic pool cover service and installation season yet.
