Troubleshoot Your Automatic Pool Cover

If you find your automatic pool cover is making an unusual sound or is getting stuck, some simple troubleshooting can help find a quick solution. 

First, try to locate the source of the noise. Is it a grinding sound coming from the cover box? A scraping sound from the tracks? Did you hear a snap or loud popping sound?
Possible causes:
  1. Mechanical If you can hear the pool cover motor running but there is no movement from the cover, do not attempt to open the pool cover again, and please contact a member of our customer care team at 866-746-8444 to schedule a system evaluation and repair.

Possible causes:
  1. Electrical If your automatic pool cover is not opening it may mean that there is no power getting to the system. Check your electrical breakers and switches and reset if necessary. Try to open the pool cover again.
  2. Mechanical If you can hear the pool cover motor running but there is no movement from the cover, do not attempt to open the pool cover again, and please contact a member of our customer care team at 866-746-8444 to schedule a system evaluation and repair.

Possible causes:
  1. Water on the Cover If there is standing water on the surface of your pool cover, it could be causing the problem. Pump the water off of the cover and try to open the cover again.
  2. Broken or Twisted Ropes If you can hear the pool cover motor running but there is no movement from the cover, do not attempt to open the pool cover again, and please contact a member of our customer care team at 866-746-8444 to schedule a system evaluation and repair.
